It seems a while now since Little Alex and Big Dave leapt about inside the Playhouse!

Playhouse Disney was originally a show for pre-school children and soon became a whole new channel for the Disney brand.

Initially the show filmed for a solid two week period at Leavesden Studios, then at the studios in West London before moving to Paris, Madrid and Buenos Aires. It started off as a programme just for the UK but soon took off worldwide as a format.

“We would be the first country in to film, as far as I knew, and then as we left the scripts would be translated into the next language and the next country would come in and do their version of the programme. I look back on it very very fondly”
